Mel & Drew - Pre Wedding shoot at Paradise Beach

It's not long until Mel and Drew's Big day! We decided to do a pre wedding shoot down at the stunning Paradise Beach on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

The pre wedding shoot was the perfect way to get used to having photos taken and also a great way to get some photos to use for invites and table decor at the wedding.

The wedding is due for March 2013 and will be at the newly renovated Moby's at Whale Beach! Stay tuned for the results.

Jess & Chris - A Bali Wedding

This wedding was a dream come true! It took place in the beautiful traditional village of Canggu (Pronocuned "Chungoo") in Bali. Everything about this wedding was truley beautiful, from the bride and her bridesmaids to the decorartions and food!

The photo opportunites in Bali are endless and we drove 5 minutes down the road to find some empty rice paddy fields and created some magical photographs.

Josh & Mel - A Manly Yacht Club Wedding

When Josh and Mel asked me to be their wedding photographer I already new we were going to make timeless photographs together. The wedding was stunning and the location at Manly Yacht Club was idillic.

We could not have asked for more in terms of the weather and lighting on the day. There was quite a strong southerly wind that blew late in the afternoon but we did not let effect the photos.

Holly & Matt - Palm Beach Wedding Photography

Take a gorgeous bride, a handsome groom and a beautiful location and you get a beatufiul wedding! Add to that great weather and a photographer that knows Palm Beach like the back of his hand and we got some stunning shots!

A Bride at the Boathouse

 It was 38 C when shooting this wedding, the guests were baking even in the shade, there were flies attacking everybody including me yet the show went on!

We even had spots of rain during the ceremony at Cabbage Tree Reserve in Palm Beach, howoever I think you will agree that this did not affect the outcome of the photos. Erin was the most easy going bride who took everything her stride.

The Flower girls and Page boys at this wedding were classic, and it was impossible to take a bad shot of them. The styling and flowers was spectaluar making for a beautiful Artisan, Rustic themed wedding which was created by the fantastic team at The Boat House Palm Beach.

I just love it when you capture a moment that tells a story. This photo was taken at The Boathouse Palm Beach where the sun flare over her shoulder illuminates her beautiful hair and flowers.

Bubbles and kisses

Jane and Matt were such a truely happy couple and everytime I pointed the camera their way it was liked they had already practiced. Natural smiles, eye contact with each other and just a warm feeling in the air put everybody at ease.

The light later in the day was perfect allowing for some beautiful flaring sunset photos at Mona Vale Beach in front of the Norfolk pines near the car park.

This wedding was a dream to shoot! Such a happy couple made it so easy going on the day. There are so many naturaly beautiful wedding photos from this wedding. Please stay tuned to see more of this wedding on my weddings section linked above!

That iconic wharf - The Boathouse Palm Beach

I love shooting weddings around this area! So many idillic photo locations within walking distance of this venue. But if you do not fancy walking too far why not just take a stoll to the end of the beautiful wharf here! The afternoon sun flares and glimering water makes it a photographers dream. Looking forward to the next wedding at The Boathouse Palm Beach!

There is just something magical about the tall trees and native australian bush that makes shoots like this so special.

This wedding was so much fun and the couple we just made for each other! The wedding took place in a cute and rustic church in a small village near Mulbring, NSW. Sometimes us photographers don't make the "text book" or techincally correct images - but I would say the most important thing is composition and timing...I love this shot as it just tells the story and makes me feel the moment after Josh and Elly got married.
